Carolinas Chapter of SIOR receives an awards:

I am pleased to announce the 2007 SIOR Chapter Achievement Awards.  Your chapter was selected as a winner.  These awards will be presented at the COPS Information Session on Thursday, April 24 beginning 11:00 AM and recognized at the General Session on Saturday, April 26 beginning 10:30 AM.  Winning chapters should be prepared for the Chapter President or other representative to attend and receive the certificate of achievement at the COPS Info session and to sit up front during the Saturday General Session to stand and be recognized.  Congratulations!

Membership Award:  The Carolinas Chapter has gained the most net members in total numbers.  In 2007, the Carolinas Chapter gained a net 9 new members equaling 7% growth. 

Membership Award:  The Southwest Chapter has gained the highest percentage in net increase of members.  In 2007, the Southwest Chapter gained 8 net members which was 16% growth. 

Programming Award:  The Carolinas Chapter is recognized for the best education and networking program in 2007 for its Chapter Fall Conference.  The event provides multiple opportunities for members and sponsors to network through formal and informal activities.  Additionally, the conference fishing tournament raised $2,300 for the SIOR Foundation.

Community Outreach Award: The St. Louis Chapter is recognized for the best program involving charity work in the community in 2007 for its Charitable Giving Program that has awarded grants to 18 local charitable organizations in the total amount of $15,000
